Are you sure you don’t work in the movies?

One of the wonderful things about technology is that it makes us all look like experts at everything, even when we don't have any skills. A case in point -cameras and camcorders. So many brides and grooms are now able to have some fantastic memories of their wedding day because all their guests are photographers and film producers. If you don't believe it, check out a current recorded wedding video – it will be good enough quality to be shown in the movies.
Only 10 years ago the most you could get on a standard digital camera was 1 meg. Anything beyond that was in the purview of professionals. Oh, and the cost of that 1 meg camera was in the region of $450. I know because I bought one. Digital cameras now are less than $100 and come with a minimum of 5 or 6 megs. Ten years ago 5 megs was what the professionals used!
Add to the high image quality features like anti-shake, red-eye reduction, and facial recognition and it's really hard to take a bad picture. Viewing software has also kept up with the changes and you can now get free open source video converters that let you watch videos across several platforms. That's one reason why you should gift your wedding guest with pictures of the great day.
